Packing List

The dress in Israel is very casual. Days will be cool to warm and sunny, mid-late spring-like. Evenings will be cool. Best bet is to dress in layers. You do not have to dress for dinner, and many days you will wear to dinner what you wore during the day.

It is permissible to wear jeans/pants/capris to religious sites. When visiting religious sites, your knees and shoulders must be covered. Skirts are not required. A nice, but casual, outfit is recommended for Shabbat. Comfortable walking shoes, sneakers or sandals are required at all times. We will be walking a lot.

Comfortable shoes/sneakers are a must when touring, and if you are going to wear sandals, closed-toe sandals are required, and no heels. We will be walking on ancient streets made of stone, as well as walking through ruins that are thousands of years old.
